New: Missing Pockets / BTC

It has come to our attention that a number of users have accidentally enabled the “Staking” / “Auto Earn programs” / “Kraken Rewards” option in their exchange account. This can happen with both Kraken and Bitstamp. You should absolutely not do this in an exchange account that is used for Cryptotrader.
The result is that the available BTC then goes to 0 BTC and the trader then marks all pockets as missing. There is no more BTC available for sale. This means that the trader can no longer trade!
It is therefore important that this option is disabled. You can verify this in the account settings in your own Bitstamp / Kraken account. Also check if you think you have not enabled anything, because apparently it is very easy to activate this option without realizing it.
Below are instructions for Kraken. At Bitstamp it is similar but called “Staking”
The setting is under “Auto Earn programs” and both options “Staking” and “Opt-in rewards” must be turned off as shown below.
Once you have turned this option off, the BTC will automatically become available in your account again. The trader will automatically detect this and update it in the Cryptotrader account within 1 day. All missing pockets will then become available for trading again.
